Configuratie conky [ script + screenshot ]

Am facut acest topic ca userii acestui forum sa posteze configuratia pe care o folosesc in conky.
Scriptul conky se afla in directorul "home/user" sub numele .conkyrc
Postul fiecarui user va arata in felul urmator:

Tutorialul trebuie sa ramana tutorial. Nu insiruire de scripturi si alte poze.
Prin urmare il rog pe initiator sa isi editeze postul si sa explice exact modelul care ar tebui urmat (dand poate si un exemplu)
Explica tuturor te rog cat mai detaliat cu putinta viziunea ta si atunci cei care au postat in tutorial pot sa isi copieze postul aici, urmand sa sterg acele posturi.
Astfel avem un tutorial curat si o discutie de genul "Arata-ti desktopul aici " dar dedicata conky.

Cât trăiește omu'nvață și când moare tăt prost moare.

Buna,
cand "cutreieram" netul documentandu-ma in legatura cu Ubuntu am vazut un script pentru conky care avea un ceas analog in forma logo-ului Ubuntu.
Poate sa imi de-a cineva scriptul? Eu am uitat sa pun "bookmark" la site sad.

bluelord : cum fac sa modific si eu Iconita din fata panoul (Aplications, Place, System) cea din stanga sus de la tine din imagine cea cu logo-ul ubuntu la mine ? sau se instaleaza ceva in plus ? si daca cumva stii cum se modifica celelalte iconite (volume control, si cea de la panoul utilizatorului - cu log-off, shut down, restart)

Neavand somn, am mai rasfoit cateva pagini de forum ubuntu si am dat peste acest topic interesant care imi aduce aminte de noptile care le-am petrecut in fata monitorului ca sa pesonalizez un conky pe placul si nevoile mele big_smile.
Varianta de mai jos a pornit de la un template luat de pe net, care bineinteles ca era "prea tipic" si nu ma coafa deloc. Asa am ajuns sa iau eu frumusel conkyrc-ul, sa il deletez tot si sa ma apuc sa bag in el, rand cu rand, fix ce vreau, cum vreau si cat vreau smile.
Si uite asa, dupa vreo 2 nopti am ajuns la varianta:

Mi-am mai modificat si eu conky-ul ca sa imi incapa si pe rezolutia de la laptop dar am intampinat o problema, nu imi vede temperatura proc-ului.
Am incercat cu variabilele $acpitemp si cu $adt746xcpu. Laptop-ul este un Toshiba Satellite L500-1EK iar SO este Ubuntu 10.04.
Are cineva vreo idee?
Si inca o chestie care mi s-a parut ciudata... la frecventa procesorului (variabila folosita este $freq_g) imi arata cand 1,2 ghz cand 2,1 ghz. Ce banuiesc eu este ca ubuntu are vreun sistem de management de consum al resurselor si cand vede ca nu e folosit procul ii reduce frecventa, respectiv consumul de curent.... altceva nu prea imi explic...

Cine mă poate ajuta să se afișeze cum trebuie această configurație. Sincer am preluat-o de la cineva și nu știu să o adaptez pentru calculatorul meu - rezoluția monitorului este de 1280x1024 și locația pentru vreme este Brașov și am procesor dual core.

Folosesc un PC cu configuratia urmatoare :
Amd athlon 2x64 Dual core ( 2CPU's) 2,3 Gh, 4 Gram, Video ATI Radeon hd 2400 512 .
Am instalat Conky de AICI, folosind pas cu pas tot ce scrie acolo (inclusiz si cele optionale, deci tot) si conky se pare ca afiseaza:

daca mai conteaza, conky colors actualizat il gasesti aici .

- pentru adresa LAN ar fi bine de vazut rezultatul comenzii ifconfig (sau sa inlocuiesti una din wlan0//ppp0//eth0 cu ce ai tu de fapt).

Cine mă poate ajuta să se afișeze cum trebuie această configurație. Sincer am preluat-o de la cineva și nu știu să o adaptez pentru calculatorul meu - rezoluția monitorului este de 1280x1024 și locația pentru vreme este Brașov și am procesor dual core.

daca nu e prea tarziu,
vezi ce apare daca

comentezi "minimum_size 210 5" (pui # in pozitia 1)
si

#maximum_width 215  #comentezi pentru a nu limita latimea ferestrei (sau modifici dupa necesitati)

pentru afisare pe verticala lucrezi in sectiunea TEXT din /.config.rc :
${voffset -5} inseamna ca va scrie mai sus cu 5pixeli ,  ${voffset 5} mai jos cu 5px;
-daca vrei sa scrie in linia lui (curenta) dai ${voffset 0} unde 0=zero; 
apoi : ${font undotum:size=30:bold} jonglezi peste tot cu size si pui sau nu bold (font ingrosat);

daca mai conteaza, conky colors actualizat il gasesti aici .

Am zis deja ca am instalat Conky colors de AICI tutorial complect (vorbim de aceeasi sursa smile ) .

Am cîteva ore de cînd mă chinui și nu reușesc să văd cum aflu:

M-am înregistrat pe weather.com, dar nu găsesc niciunde valorile respective.

Mă poate ajuta cineva?

Nu. Nu vreau ID-ul orașului (ăsta îl aflu foarte ușor din url), ci strict valorile respective, valori care trebuie introduse în conkyForecast.config, pentru a putea să-mi afișez cu conky-colors și vremea.
